Dear friends,

Last year and year before that, I have presented similar post and it has had quite a significant number of visitors. I feel it would be good to remind ourselves about the meaning of celebration of the time of Solstice.

The time around the winter solstice has been celebrated for thousands of years, and different religions have developed different festivals around this time.

Budhists celebrate Bodhi Day - The Day of Enlightenment, celebrating the day that Shakyamuni experienced enlightenment (also known as Bodhi) on December 8.

Hanukkah - the Festival of Lights, observed in Judaism for eight nights and days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar.

In Ancient Roman Religion was a Festival Saturnalia (basically a festival of Solstice) held in honor of deity Saturn on the 17th of December and later expanded with festivities through to the 23rd of December.

About 5000 years ago, Stone Age people have build a large circular mound, 76 m across and 12 m high at Newgrange, Ireland. Within a mound, there is an interior chamber and 19 m long stone passageway with entrance on the southeastern side. The entrance and passageway are perfectly aligned with solar movements.
Once a year, in the morning on December 21 (or 22), on Winter Solstice, the rising sun shines directly along the long passage and illuminates the inner chamber for about 17 minutes.
The Newgrange Mound is older then Stonehedge and Pyramids in Ghiza, and is one of the oldest documented attempt to mark winter solstice.
Similar structure was build on Gavrinis island that overlooks the Vannes river in France. Another passage mound was build at Kercado in Carnac woods in France. It was build in 4700 BC and is perfectly aligned to winters solstice.

Return of Yang, a festival celebrated by Daoists on December 21.

Yalda -The turning point, Winter Solstice, was celebrated early in the history of the Germanic peoples on December 21. The pagan Scandinavian and Germanic people celebrated twelve-day "midwinter" Winter solstice holiday called Yule (Jul, Julblot). Many modern Christian traditions, such as Christmas tree, Christmas wreath, Yule log and others are direct descendants of Yule customs.

In Ancient Egypt religion, God-Man Saviour Osiris death and rebirth was celebrated on Dec 21.

In Ancient Greek religion, The Festival Lenaea, the death and rebirth of harvest God Dionysos, was celebrated on Dec 21.

In Ancient Inca religion, the Festival If Inti Raymi, the festival of Sun where the God of Sun, Wiracocha was celebrated on Dec 21.

Toltec people celebrate Winter Solstice till today. They merged their own zenith cosmology with the Mayan system and build the pyramid at Kukulcan. When one looks at the western face of pyramid during the winter solstice, the sun appears to climb up the edge of the staircase until it rests momentarily directly above the temple before beginning its descent down the other side.

Shabe Yaldā or Shabe Chelle is an Iranian festival celebrating the victory of light and goodness over darkness and evil, it is a birth of Mithra, who symbolizes light, truth, goodness, strength, and friendship. It is celebrated on December 22.

In the Druidic tradition the name of this festival is "Alban Arthan", Welsh for "Light of Winter". On  the 21st or 22nd of December - winter Solstice, Celts have celebrated the return of the Divine Child, the Mabon, the rebirth of the Sun.

Korocun was celebrated by pagan Slavic tribes on December 21, the longest night of the year. On this night, Hors (symbolizing old sun), becomes smaller as the days become shorter and dies on December 22, the winter solstice. It is said to be defeated by the dark and evil powers of the Black God. On December 23 Hors is resurrected and becomes the new sun, Koleda.

The Dōngzhì Festival or Winter Solstice Festival is celebrated in the China on December 21 (22). It is a time for family to get together and eat traditional meal of glutinous rise balls (in Southern China) or dumplings (Northern China).

Anglo Saxon Pagans were holding Modraniht - The Night of Mothers, on December 24.

In Vainakh mythology, there a Malkh festival dedicated to the Deela - Malkh - the birthday and the festival of the Sun on December 25.

Sol Invictus ("The Unconquered Sun") was originally a Syrian god who was later adopted as the chief god of the Roman Empire under Emperor Aurelian. His holiday is traditionally celebrated on December 25.

Hindus in USA celebrate Pancha Ganapati, modern five-day Festival in honor of Lord Ganesha on December 21 - 25

Christians celebrate Blue Christmas - the day of Advent with longest night of the year on Dec 21 and later, the birth of Jesus on December 25.

Chahārshanbe Suri is a fire jumping festival, celebrated in Iran and Afghanistan. Ancient Persians Zoroastrian celebrated the last 5 days of the Iranian year (Spring Equinox) in their annual obligation feast of all souls.

In Islam, they do not celebrate solstice. The Muslim faith follows lunar and not solar phases. Consequently, the time of religious festivals in Islam changes every year with reference to other calendars (it shifts 11 days a year).

Mawlid al- Nabi in on Dec 12-13 2016 many Muslims have honored the birth of Muhammad in a ritual called the Mawlid. These popular practices are festive occasions, often with decorations all over cities, featuring tents in which sweets and candy are handed out. (taken with gratitude from article by Obin Safi).

Whatever you are celebrating, I wish you from my heart, a very peaceful Holidays season, filled with God's love and light.

With love and blessings

Peter Hudoba: Can You Overcome Fatigue?

Dear Friends,

It is important to know why we are fatigued. There are many different reasons, from a simple one - like being tired from long and demanding activity to much more serious like health conditions (low thyroid, loss of red blood cells due to some illness) and others. Therefore it is always a good idea to check with doctor to rule out serious issues.

But, nevertheless, we can help ourselves with wonderful techniques that master Sha has showed us.

Practice the sacred technique to heal fatigue:

Left palm is on the lower abdomen just below belly button and place Right palm is on Left palm. Visualisation of golden light in the area behind both palms.

Invocation: to Divine and Dao to bring Divine love and light to lower energy centre, to heal it, to fill with pure energy
Ask your Soul Mind and Body and Soul Mind and Body of your Lower Energy Centre to receive Divine love and light, to fully develop.

Chanting the mantra:

"Lu La Lu La Li
Lu La Lu La La Li
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La

I love my heart and soul
 I love all humanity
 join hearts and souls together
 love peace and harmony
 love peace and harmony"

with love and light,

Peter Hudoba: How you can change the separation and isolation from others

Dear friends,

About 2 or 3 years ago, there was a survey made in Vancouver about what is the most pressing difficulty for Vancouverites. The result has surprised everybody. Everybody has expected that the most pressing issue would be financial and economic strife. You know, the Vancouver has changed dramatically over the past 7-8 years. The foreign investment has brought lot of capital and most of it was invested into construction of new high rise buildings. The price of housing and renting skyrocketed. This has made the cost of living unaffordable for many and people here have a difficult time to meet life ends.

So, obviously, everybody was expecting that we would feel the economic difficulty the most pressing issue. It was not. What we feel most troubling in our life is in fact the feeling of ISOLATION. And this is not only the issue in Vancouver, most of large cities around the world have the same problem.

About 20 years ago, I experienced the life in other Canadian province, in a small town where the doors were not locked and where children were freely playing on the street. When we moved in, the neighbours greeted us with a cake and bottle of wine. You never find this in Vancouver. Everybody feels a need to protect himself or herself from others and we create the walls around us, to feel safe. Yet, at the same time, we isolate ourselves from others. The life lost it’s luster.

During my studies with my teacher master Sha, I found that truly, the only way to live happily is to love everyone and everybody unconditionally. I believe that the love is a key to resolve all of our issues and certainly, it is the key to break through isolation and separation.

How do you practice the sacred technique to develop love to people?

Put your Left palm in the middle of your chest, over Heart chakra and place your Right palm on your Left palm in prayer position. Visualize golden light in the area behind your both palms.

Invocation: to Divine and Dao to bring Divine love and light to your heart, to your heart chakra, to heal it, to heal your ability to love.
Ask your Soul Mind and Body and Soul Mind and Body of your Heart and your Heart Chakra to receive Divine love and light, to fully develop love for people.

Chant the mantra:

"Lu La Lu La Li
Lu La Lu La La Li
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La

I love my heart and soul
 I love all humanity
 join hearts and souls together
 love peace and harmony
 love peace and harmony"

Peter Hudoba: How I started to love people again

Dear friends,

Since young age, as a little boy, I already wanted to be a doctor and to help people. My Teddy bear received many injections to keep him healthy, often had bandages on for "pain" and I would care for him so much!
Later, as younger boy, I read many books about doctors, researchers and I dreamed that one day, I will be able to do something special to help people troubled by pain and illness.

At age of 18 I enrolled to medical school where I ranked 2nd with admission score. But, for some very unpleasant reason, I could not start university studies. I was hurt very much, and I closed my heart to people. From that moment, my motivation to become a doctor was a strong desire, almost like obscession, to prove myself: "nobody will stop me, I will become a doctor"

This was a dramatic shift in my heart. Until then, my main motivation to become doctor was a desire to help sick people, to benefit humanity with a big scientific discovery. From then on, my main motivation was to prove myself. And this carried with me for many decades to come.

I am extremely grateful to my teacher master Sha that he helped me to clear my heart from these negative tendencies, that he taught me all the necessary techniques so I could purify the karmic blockages in my love to people.

I found myself again. I can be free to love and not to fear that I would be hurt. That is so huge for me! It is like a fish find itself in fresh water again, like a suffocating animal founds a fresh air again.

"I love, therefore I live"

How do you practice the sacred technique to develop love to people?

Put your Left palm in the middle of your chest, over Heart chakra and place your Right palm on your Left palm in prayer position. Visualize golden light in the area behind your both palms.

Invocation: to Divine and Dao to sent you Divine love and light to your heart, to your heart chakra, to heal it, to heal your ability to love.
Ask your Soul Mind and Body and Soul Mind and Body of your Heart and your Heart Chakra to receive Divine love and light, to fully develop love for people.

Chant the mantra:

"Lu La Lu La Li
Lu La Lu La La Li
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La
Lu La Lu La Li Lu La

I love my heart and soul
 I love all humanity
 join hearts and souls together
 love peace and harmony
 love peace and harmony"

Peter Hudoba: Body Space Medicine - Energy Healing

Dear Friends,

Today I share about a Body Space medicine, the pioneering work of Master Guo, the teacher of our beloved master Sha.

In 2007, I was so blessed, that I could accompany Master Sha and Master Guo to travel to New York and do with them the presentations at NYIT and at UN Headquarters in New York. I was very honored by giving the lectures together with master Guo, he was speaking in chinesse and I was translating into English. It was so wondereful!

As I was preparing the presentation for master Guo, I had to study his book and I learned a lot of knowledge. But it was only after we were together in New Your, when we were discussing the topics before our presentation, that I really got the concept well. I am so grateful to both masters for this incredible opportunity.

In coming weeks, I will spent a time to discuss this precious knowledge.

If you like, you can come and listen to my radio show recording  Click here

Peter Hudoba: What Does Love Peace Harmony means for our lives?

Dear friends,

Today,  I share my experience of  Love Peace and Harmony in the life.

All people around the world wish to live healthy and happy lives. Nobody likes the war, people like the peace. People do not like to live in arguments, violence and similar, everybody prefers to have harmonious surroundings. Everyone whom I met wanted one thing that was common to all: to have someone to love and someone to love them. If they could not have it with people, then they found it with pets, or with garden.

I found also that people want to feel a peace inside, nobody likes inner tension or turmoil. We would like to have balanced inner organs, nobody would like to have hormonal or metabolic disharmony or other way to say - imbalance.

I learned from master Sha how important it is to have love peace and harmony inside and outside. let me share with you.

How do we do it? We pray to Heaven, to Divine, Dao, to Saints and we request that they bless our life and fill it with Love, Peace and Harmony.
 Then we practice as follows:

Body posture - in sitting, put your left palm on middle of the chest, put your right palm on your left palm
Mind Power - Visualize golden ball behind palms.
Soul Power - Invocation of Deities and Soul Downloads (the prayer)
Sound Power - Chant the mantra:

I love my heart and soul
I love all humanity
Join hearts and souls together
Love Peace and Harmony
Love Peace and Harmony

How I grew to become a Spiritual teacher

Dear friends,

Today,  I share my life story how I grew to become a Spiritual teacher and healer.

When I was born, the nurse in delivery room that hold me in her arms said to my mom: "I do not know what it is about this baby, but I have a feeling that he will be a great doctor one day." Since I was a child, this has somehow become part of my life.
As a little boy, I received a toy emergency kit for Christmas and I was diligently putting bandages on "bobo" on my teddy bear paw. He got so many flu shots from me! I read many books about doctors, healers and my most favorite books were Cronin's Adventures of a Black Bag and Doctor Arrowsmith, a novel by American author and playwright Sinclair Lewis.

As 14 years old, I read about Dr. Cooper from New York how he was placing electrodes into a brain of people to heal their hand shaking and I decided that is what I will do one day. My dream was fulfilled! When I come to live in Canada, I met a doctor who helped Dr. Copper with those surgeries, and I was actually doing a research on the surviving patients from that time. Absolutely remarcable!

But, the destiny has lead me eventually to meet master Sha who trained me in different healing art. Now I am helping many people with all sorts of issues, not only ilness and it gives me a tremendous pleasure and joy to be able to do this. I can not thank Master Sha enough for helping me to reach my final dream of my life.
